Barbie has been around since the 60's and lets face it, she's always had flawless looking skin and never seems to age. It's almost as if she was made of pore-less plastic! As Barbie's personal Esthetician and skincare mentor, I have the honor of caring for Barbie's gorgeous skin and it's my responsibility to help ensure she stays looking flawless for her millions of fans.

Barbie has normal to dry skin with the occasional breakout yet you'd never know it because she is dedicated to her morning and nighttime skincare routine. So let's be more like Barbie and follow in her footsteps by practicing great skin habits and rituals that any Mattel playmate and real human alike would benefit from.

When Barbie wakes up in the morning she knows she needs to remove her nighttime skincare products and any sweat, dirt and oil that's accumulated during her 8+ hours of beauty rest. She also understands the importance of Vitamin C and sun protection to reduce oxidative damage from her environment and protect against harmful UV rays, both of which contribute to preventing sun damage and keeping her skin wrinkle free.

Barbie's Morning Skincare Routine

Step 1: Cleanse

Barbie washes the night off with a targeted facial cleanser such as the Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Cleanser with gentle lactic acid to remove dead skin cells or the Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser with acne fighting salicylic acid to deep clean her pores without leaving her skin feeling dry or stripped. 

Step 2: Hydrate & Prep

After her face is washed Barbie preps her clean skin with a hydrating mist to tone, balance and increase product penetration for more effective results. Barbie reaches for the Mangosteen Revitalizing Mist or the Neroli Age Corrective Hydrating Mist. A quick spritz over her face, neck and decolleté and she's ready for actives and age prevention. 

Step 3: Vitamins & Actives

Since Barbie is constantly on the go and always outside caring for her animals, she knows the importance of keeping damaging free radicals at bay and protecting her precious skin from UV damage. Wrinkles and dark spots aren't going to get Barbie down!

Vitamin C and vitamin E reverse free radical damage from environmental stressors and botanical hyaluronic acid plumps and smooths her sometimes dry skin without being too heavy. Citrus & Kale Potent C+E Serum is lightweight and sinks directly into her epidermis followed by Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum to keep her skin from losing water throughout the day. 

Step 4: Treat

Barbie has a wild social life which sometimes means late nights with friends and one too many mocktails. Her early morning routine has her up at 5:00 am so sometimes she sports a bit of under-eye baggage. Barbie refuses to let puffy eyes and dark circles give her away, so she reaches for the Hibiscus Ultra-lift Eye Cream with ice wine actives to instantly tighten up her under-eye leaving even Ken wondering what her secret to always looking radiant really is.

Barbie's Nighttime Skincare Routine

When Barbie finally crashes at her Malibu pad after a long and eventful day, she needs to get the day off of her face ASAP. 

Step 1: Pre-cleanse

Wether Barbie sports a full face of makeup or goes fresh faced, she needs to "take the day off" her face before she can properly clean her skin. Stone Crop Cleansing Oil breaks down foundation and mascara and attaches itself to daytime skincare products like sunscreen and pulls them away from the surface of the skin to easily rinse clean. 

Step 2: Cleanse

For Barbie's mostly normal and sometimes dry skin type, the Stone Crop Gel Wash is her go-to. It's gentle and effective at removing impurities and leaving her skin feeling fresh. 

Step 3: Exfoliate
